Calling all 8 year-old & younger swimmers!

Join your fellow plesiosauruses in a DINO-mite of a meet!

This is a great opportunity for swimmers of ALL SKILL LEVELS to experience what a “real” swim meet is like

or

for swimmers who have already swum in a meet to challenge themselves by swimming events they normally wouldn’t!

 

Date: Sunday, July 12

Time:  8:00 am – warm-ups begin

    8:50 am – team costume parade

    9:00 am – meet begins

Place: Westleigh Recreation Club, 14900 DuFief Mill Rd., North Potomac, MD 20878

 

The meet will have an official referee, starter judge, starting horn, lane timers, and award ribbons!
Events include:
  • 25 meter swim with kickboard
  • 25 meter freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly
  • 50 meter freestyle
  • 100 meter individual medley

 

All 8 & under pre-team and main team swimmers are encouraged to attend!

Come in your favorite jurassic costume!

 

  • No DQs
  • in-water swimmer helpers in each lane
  • Swimmers may swim up to 5 events; events are separated into 6U and 8U
  • Award ribbons for 1st through 12th place; participant ribbons for 13th place and lower
  • $30/swimmer cost covers registration and a t-shirt

  • Deadline for registration is Friday, July 10, at 12 pm, and entry fees are non-refundable.
