Welcome to the 2021 summer season of Westleigh Recreation Club. One of the favorite time honored traditions that kick off the summer season is our annual Root Beer Float Day on the last day of school.
We still do not feel totally comfortable having a traditional Root Beer Float Day as it involves an extended gathering of children who are mostly unvaccinated. But we wanted to get back to some form of recognition that the school year is over.
On that note we are having, Klondike Bar Day, from 2:30-4:30pm on Wednesday, June 16th. We ask, but do not require, that masks are worn and we will be enforcing social distancing while in line. Bracelets will also be required to get a bar. Only 1 bar per child, no adults.
What would you do for a Klondike bar?
