Junior Tennis Team

The Westleigh Tennis Team is for all boys and girls who are between the ages of 8 and 17. Westleigh tennis team members compete against other local clubs in four age categories: 10 and under, 12 and under, 14 and under, and 17 and under.

Each player must play every player in their age, group prior to the start of the first practice, to determine their place on the ladder. The top six players in each age group will compete in the dual matches against the other clubs. More information on challenge matches will be provided after registration.

T-shirts and an awards banquet are included for all players. There will be one practice, one team match, and one challenge match per week.

The cost to join the tennis team is $25 per week for members. There is a $5 non member fee per week.The 2011 season will run for 10 weeks from June 20 to July 29. The $25 fee per week includes a tennis team t-shirt and the ability to attend two practice clinics a week. Any player that registers and plays for at least 3 weeks will receive a trophy at the end of the season.
